Terry Winters
Chairman

Terry Winters FAICD joined the Australian Home Care Services Board in October 1999 and is its current Chairman. He was previously Chairman of Multiple Sclerosis Limited where he served as a Board member from 1993. He is currently Chairman of Netcomm Limited, Converge International Limited and a director of Future Fibre Technologies Pty Ltd. In 2010, he retired as Chairman of Opportunity International Network, a global provider of microfinance services in over 36 developing countries.

Terry has over 30 years' experience in the social enterprise and telecommunications and information technology sectors, having worked in senior executive positions and Board roles for Motorola and Optus. Terry brings a high level of experience and skill to the Board. He founded and led Link Telecommunications from 1983 to 1995, was also Chairman of BellSouth Australia from 1990 to 1995 and led the creation of Optus during this time.

Company Secretary

Andrew Long, B.Com, joined Australian Home Care Services in June 2007 as Company Secretary. Andrew has held the position of Company Secretary for organisations including the Bellwether Group of Companies, Foundation for Regional and Rural Renewal, Bendigo Stock Exchange Group and Bendigo Bank Limited. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and Company Directors Association and is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries.

Christina Gillies has been a non-executive Director of Australian Home Care Services since 2002 focusing on IT governance. Chris serves on the Boards of Multiple Sclerosis Australia and Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia and is Chair of Multiple Sclerosis Limited. Chris is a Director Oakton, Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority, Cenitex, UCMS and Corporate Express. Chris’ career includes senior appointments with St George Bank and the Bank of Melbourne. Chris was also Victorian Director of DMR Group, an international IT consulting company, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and designing and implementing IT change programs.

Christina has over 15 years’ experience as a director and more than 35 years’ experience in business management and IT. Christina is a person with Multiple Sclerosis.

David Husband

David Husband B.Eng, M.Eng.Sc joined the Australian Home Care Services Board in October 2006. David is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DHA Consulting Group and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management Consultants. David is Chairman of the Advisory Board for Leggett Financial, a leading AMP financial planning group, and SeerPharma, a leading pharmaceutical consulting company.

David has developed strong skills in management, strategy and consulting through his experience in the banking, utilities, transport and IT industries.

Robert McEniry portrait

Robert McEniry

Robert McEniry MBA was elected a Director of Australian Home Care Services in May 2003. Robert is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited. Robert has had wide business experience both in Australia and overseas, primarily in the automotive industry and in the auto supplier sector as Chief Executive Officer of SPT Limited. Robert has also worked in the housing and construction and biotechnology industries, including holding the role of Chief Executive Officer of Nucleus Network Limited. Robert is a member of the Advisory Board - Department of Management, Monash University and has been a Director of Multiple Sclerosis Victoria since 1998. Robert has family experience with Multiple Sclerosis.

John Murphy B.Com., M.Com. joined the Australian Home Care Services Board in October 2006. John has a strong background in finance and investment, having spent 26 years with an international accounting firm and 10 years as Managing Director for Investec Wentworth Private Equity Limited, one of Australia’s leading private equity firms. John holds positions on the Boards of all fund investments such as AAV Limited, Fone Zone Limited, Mitre 10 Australia Limited, Australian Pharmaceuticals Limited and Millers Retail Limited. Additionally, John is a Director of First Opportunity Fund Limited and Investec Bank (Australia) Ltd. John holds Fellowships in the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.

Peter Day, LLB, MBA, FCA joined the Australian Home Care Services Board in April 2008. Peter was most recently Chief Financial Officer for Amcor. Peter has a background in finance and general management in mining, manufacturing, food and financial services and has held Executive and Director positions with Bonlac Foods, Rio Tinto, CRA and Comalco. Peter is a former Chairman of the Australian Accounting Standards Board and Deputy Chairman of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. Peter is Chairman of Orbital Corporation Limited, a non-executive Director of Ansell Limited and a member of the Monash University Business and Economics Advisory Committee.

Michael Boyce B.Ec., Exec. MBA joined Australian Home Care Services as Chief Executive in 2002. Michael has extensive and broad general management experience in the oil industry, banking and finance and information technology. Michael’s position prior to joining Australian Home Care was on the Executive Team of EDS Asia South as Sales and Marketing Director. He is an Executive Member of the Victorian Coalition of ABI Service Providers and is a member of the Advisory Board of Product Lifecycle Management Australasia. Michael is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
