You're in safe hands
As an industry leader boasting decades of experience, our approach to achieving excellence, quality and innovation continues to set us apart.
Our strong compliance and governance culture is validated by external certification. It’s also reflected in our attention to safety and recognised by our peers as we participate in peak industry events.
Our staff are fully screened and complete mandatory police checks and working with children checks where appropriate. Staff are required to undertake a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) as a minimum. Many have Certificate IV qualifications in ageing support or disability. Our health professionals are qualified and registered.
For the safety of both staff and clients, we equip our staff with training that is specific to the needs of the people they may be working alongside. For example, staff may receive training in how to work most effectively with people living with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury or challenging behaviours.
All staff undertake training in occupational health and safety and require a current first aid certificate, including annual CPR updates.
We provide service excellence and maintain our certification to the highest industry standards.
In addition to our mandatory corporate compliance requirements (such as WorkSafe, ASIC and ATO obligations) we conform to a range of standards embedded in our management systems:
- ISO 9001/2008 Quality Management Systems
- Home Care Common Standards
- NSW Disability Service Standards
- National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards (Healthcare at Home Australia)
- Attendant Care Industry Standard 2013
- AS4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- Victorian Human Services Standards
Awards and Recognition
Our training program drew accolades during an external certification when it was identified as ‘best in class’ in our sector. Our industry-leading training continues to set us apart.
In addition, we participate in, and are recognised through, industry events and awards such as:
- the Victorian Disability Awards
- the National Disability Awards.
