Art exhibition foray a winner for Australian Home Care Services client, Kerrie Sculac
Posted 07 Dec 2016
It was a double first for AHCS client, Kerrie Sculac, when she displayed paintings and poetry at the Statewide Autistic Services Inc,. art exhibition last month.
Not only was it the first time she had exhibited her work to the public, she also scooped the People's Choice Award for her contribution to the event at Melbourne's Frankston Arts Centre.
Kerrie’s AHCS Support Worker, Virginia O’Gorman, has been instrumental in supporting Kerrie as her creativity has blossomed.
As well as assisting to source the art supplies Kerrie required, Virginia has encouraged Kerrie as she tackled a new challenge of creating paintings by mouth as well as composing poetry.
With her first successful exhibition behind her, Kerrie is now fielding requests from potential buyers interested in purchasing reproductions of her artwork.
